Now my rriend, i know you would miss your precious statue of liberty, and your beautiful monuments. I have to ask though, do you want those more than you want your personal freedoms? your say in the public? Wouldnt you rather have an opinion that will be heard? I want you to start your new family in Giessencis. Move here with Andrew and live here. My family loves it on tehse beautiful islands, Carl and I and the kids are very happy.
This place s excellent to live in, we have everything we need. From food to land we have it all.

Government
We have a dictatorship. All our decisions are made by choice of Heskoi. By having this executive desicion made by one single leader we avoid pointless conflict and protest. Since we all agree, have the same moral values, and understand eachothers wants and needs there is no need for any other form of government.

Giessencis the one and only Paradise
Have you ever felt that your life is too stressed out? Do you feel a need to go back to the old days when everything was so much more simpilier and you didn't have to worry about falling to liberalists. If you answered yes to any of those questions then I have got great news for you.....
Giessencism this is the society you have been looking for! We have re-enacted the old Egyptian ways for they were not as liberal and so much work to make everything work out.
Now that we have simplified our life's and have rediscovered our god Csoi through our new leader Heskoi we have had many plentiful harvests and have found a new love for the beauty that surrounds us here on the islands.
We also have many new temples which have been built for our worship of the one true ruler Csoi. He has told us how to make these temples through our ruler Heskoi. Now that we have built these temples we are able to fully worship Csoi every day for he is the reason that we have all things.
The Daily Itinerary
Dawn: Wake up and say prayers to Csoi.
Mid-morning: Break fast with more prayers to Csoi and then go to various jobs.
Noon: Eat and then go back and work.
Evening: Go to the temple to worship and then go home to eat with your families.
Dusk: Say your prayers to Csoi and then go to sleep.

Life In Giessencis
Here are a few collected journal entries of some resident Giessencians

Life on the island is fine this year. The crops are growing well, and in a few weeks we will be ready to harvest. We will have a surplus this year. The storms have been mild this summer, and we are looking forward to a calm winter. I believe the nice weather is because of the numerous sacrifices we have made in the past few months. Csoi is pleased, and i can feel his happiness within the town.
Today went well, the waves were calm so that made the weeding easy. I like my job weeding the crops, I am not anxious to start the harvest. When I turn sixteen in October I will be old enough to begin work in the factories.
Today Marcus talked to me, I was very excited. He asked me if I will be joining in the harvest work this year, or if I will be working in the seam. I told him I will be out on the fields, he smiled and said "hopefully we'll be working in the same section". I am sure I blushed..
It was a fine day, I will write more tomorrow.

The Harvest is finally over, Heskoi is pleased, and we can all feel Csoi's pleasure. It was a plentiful year.
My family and I are planning to move to the other side of the island at the end of this winter. Hashli Is anxious, she cannot wait to leave this side of the island. The other side is upper class and we are ready to upgrade.
Hashli is very pregnant, and will soon be ready to have our baby. Beautiful little Malie is very excited, she dances around in the living room singing songs to the baby, then will run up to her mommy's stomach and put her ear up to listen. After listening intently she will step back and excitedly announce that "Baby claps for me!"
It is late, and Hashli is calling me to read to Malie.

School was boring today, we did a lot of math. I hate math. Mrs. Jimex scares me, she is a mean lady. Recess was fun, I played with Alex and Renic. We played cops and robbers, and I won! Alex fell off the swing set and scraped his knee, but he didnt cry. He was bleeding a lot, it looked really cool! My mom made me do lots of chores today, I dont like chores. It was getting cold today, I had to wear long pants instead of shorts. I'm going to go eat now.

Giessencis
Giessencis comes from the latin word geo meaning earth. Sencis is an ancient egyptian word meaning inseperable. We as a country believe in being united as a people, and interconnected with the earth. The only way believe this to be possible is through one supreme ruler, ruled by a higher power. We are all under command of our ruler Heskoi, but Heskoi is ruled by the Octopus God Csoi, whom we worship. Further explanation of how our government works is outlined in the "Government" post.

Rules of Giessencis
The rules that guide life on Giessencis are as follows:
- One must never do anything to harm the sacred octopus. The harming of any sacred animal is punishable by death.
- Prayer is required before any meeting for the gods to shower prosperity on the meeting. This law is punishable by whatever the god over that meeting sees fit.
- All rulers are elected by the gods. Anyone that questions the gods' authority may be jailed up to a lifetime.
- Honesty is always required at all times.
- Murder in all it's forms are strictly prohibited. Any person who breaks this law will be put to death. Human life is sacred. Jepthi will punish the soul that murders.
- All children must attend school until the age of 16 at which time they may enter the workforce.
- Egyptian is the official language of Giesencis. All official documents, signs, papers etc. will be printed in Egyptian.
- A court of law shall be instituted in Heskonia, the capital city, for the use of all citizens. The court shall not make any decision unless approved by Csoi. Any judge that thus does, shall be removed imediatly. Any court ruling that goes against these rules is also prohibited.
- Any drug that alters the mind or body is hereby illegal. Such drugs will be confiscated and the person in posession of them will be fined and/or jailed up to $250,000 and/or 5 years in prison.
- Visiting the prison unauthorized is restricted.

The Blue Ringed Octopus....

We chose the Blue Ringed Octopus to represent our society because we depend on water to survive and the octopus is the most deadly animal in the sea now that the larger animals have been hunted to extinction by our society for food. The octupus has been declared sacred by Heskoi because its venom is enough to kill a person in mere minutes. We have adopted the colors Blue, Orange, and Green
for our flag from the Octopus.
The Blue represents the government holding everything together. The Orange represents our society working as a whole. The Green represents the diversity of our society.

Our Declaration of Independence
“When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another,…a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”
We, as a society of individual, opinionated human beings, do hereby declare Independence from the United States of America. Our country today has become too apathetic and disinterested to have as much of an impact in the world as we once did. This country at one time was the most powerful and respected in the world, but no longer. The citizens lack the knowledge, authority and respect to make a difference in this world. We were once looked to for help, but we now look to others to help us. Money we do not have is going all over the world to lands and products we can and have lived without, resulting in trillions of dollars in debt. All over the world the United States of America is looked down on and seen as a country of dishonest, useless, mindless followers. Lack of values has become apparent. This lack of values, we personally believe, has come from too many varying religions and the obvious contempt for getting up off the couch to attend meetings. Thus, those that claim to be religious know nothing about the religion they claim affiliation with.
All this can be changed but we must backtrack almost 250 years. When our founding fathers created this country and instituted the constitution, they founded everything on the belief of God and that all are equal in his eyes. This principle has greatly diminished in our country. We believe that we must return to the ideals our fathers had in mind when this country was established. However we do not agree that one god could do everything to create and establish, not only this nation, but also the entire world. One god cannot run the entire earth. It is just too much work. All of the gods are becoming angry because so many refuse to believe in them. In order to turn away this wrath, we do henceforth and forever declare this state of Giessencis a nation independent from The United States of America.
